6 States in 7 days

The Brudnicki family has a reunion every few years. The last time I was able to go was the summer I graduated from high school. Yes, that was 10 years ago. I felt like we should go, plus half of my family has never met Adam or vise versus.

Adam and I drove to Green Bay, Wisconsin.
We left Tuesday, June 11th about 7pm. Our plan was to get to Green River, Wyoming and stop for the night. As we got closer, I started to call around to get a room. Well guess what, all the rooms were booked and not a single room until Cheyenne. That was another 4 hour drive. It was 9 pm and we were both tired but we had to keep going. We grabbed dinner and headed back onto the road, again. We arrived in Cheyenne at 1 am! Yikes! Glad we made it safe.

We took our time and had a great time catching up and enjoying each others company on our long drive! We arrived in Green Bay on Thursday, June 13th.

We saw lots of windmills along the way. The first night all we could see was lights flashing high up and couldn't figure out what they were until the next morning.

We stayed at a Lodge with all of my family!

Inside was a huge water park. So as soon as we arrived, I took my nephew Mason down to play! He loved it. His two older brothers were still driving with my parents, so it could have been that.

Jason & Mason -before they fell backwards.

Let's just say Mason did not want to go down the slide ever again.

Green Bay Packers practice field

We walked around the stadium as well, but my phone would not let me take pictures.

Adam and Hudson

Father's day!

We went to see my Father's dad in a VA home. He is 94! He said he wants to live to be 100!

We had a nice picnic with all the family.

Adam had way too much fun holding Hudson.

Glad we got to see my grandpa. Just a few weeks after we came back, he started to go down hill. And today, he is not expected to live much longer.

Went to lunch to the best butter burger joint ever! Kroll's!

This was so delicious. They cook lots of butter inside. Yummy!
Sure craving one now!

Our time went really fast. But I had a lot of fun with my family.

On the way home, we stopped by a few fun places.

Mt. Rushmore

We got home around 10 pm on Wednesday, June 19th.

I'm glad that you had a good trip. Sorry to hear that your grandpa isn't doing well though.
