Business Trip

June 1-7, 2013
I headed to West Virginia to a resort called Ogelbay for a business trip. I went to Venue Management School all week. I also went into 5 states, that I have never been to, this trip!

This was my schedule for the week:
Saturday, July 1, 2013
8:00 am Arrived at SLC airport
8:30 am Boarded plane
1st layover - Detroit, Michigan airport

4:30 pm Arrived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
drove into West Virginia.

I went with two co-workers. Melissa & Aaron

My view from the back seat.

6:00 pm Arrived at Oglebay Resort

Checked in

Melissa & I and two other girls stayed in a cabin.

7-9:00 pm Speed networking
This is where everyone attending the school comes together and every few minutes you have to move around and meet new people. It was a little weird. But I did meet one other person out of 350 who does finance. We became friends and she was also in my class.

I had a hard time sleeping. It was one hour ahead of what I was use to. But that still did not stop me from waking up this early everyday!
