July through October 2013

What we have been up to the last few months.

Adam at Home Depot one day at work. He is so afraid of heights.

Adam was in HEAVEN while at scout camp July 29th- August 3rd.

All the concord grapes we got off of our three vines.

pictures of our front yard landscaping from June/July.

July 10th- 13th we watched our nephews while their dad, mom and sister went to girls camp.

We roasted marshmallows

Played at the park down the street.

They were playing Halo and using pine cones as grenades.

Can you see them around Adam's head?

While I was at work, the boys made swords.

We invited the neighborhood kids over to play some games in the front yard.

We also set up a slip-n-slide. They all had a blast. The neighborhood kids were a little sad when my nephews had to go home. We always enjoy spending time with our family.

July 19th
We planned a get together up Millcreek  Canyon with lots of people from our ward. Adam and I wanted to make sure we got the best spot so we went up early and had sometime to just hang out in the hammock.

Gross...;)

Lots of people came. It was a blast. We will for sure have to do it again next year!

Yummy cucumbers and tomatoes all from our garden.

I made homemade tomato soup!

We have four pear trees! We did many things with them.

Canned several...

Made pear chutney

made lots of grape juice!

One night of canning

pumpkin muffin from costco! Love this time of the year.

I decorated pumpkins, grown from our garden, with my sister-in-law.

October 18th-20th
I headed on a business trip to Tucson, Arizona to see the Utah vs. U of A football game.

This was a view from my room. Lots of cactus.

Walked through U of A's tailgate lot. They sure don't tailgate like Ute fans!
I did think this was funny. Swoop piñata.

Arizona Stadium

On the way to the airport, we almost ran into these two boars.

Monday, October 21st
Adam started a new full time job. He is now working for The State of Utah- Work Force Services. He is liking the job and hoping he will be able to make a great career working here.

October 24th-29th
My mom, dad and oldest brother, Dustin came into town. One of my cousins had his farewell on the 27th. He heads to the MTC on November 6th. Then will serve in Monterey East Mexico. While my family was here, we went shopping, went to Roosevelt to spend time with my moms family and had my dads family over for dinner one night at my house. The time went really fast and I did not take one single picture. Miss my family lots! Hope to see them  again soon!

We have been having a great time this summer/fall. I have been extremely busy at work but still have time to spend with Adam. We have been having lots of fun together. We are so blessed right now in our lives and have nothing to complain about.
