Liberty Ward Camp out

This year Adam and the scouts were in charge of dinner. So Adam and the 2 boys that showed up cooked us dutch oven dinner. They had BBQ chicken, dutch oven potatoes, chocolate desert and peach cobbler.

Camping

For Labor Day we headed to Roosevelt for our annual family camping trip. We had a great time! I did not take any pictures except of our gas mileage on the way home. See below for more info!

It was a perfect day to go and the treats were good but don't think I would eat them again. Too Much deep fried! At least I tried them and have proof!

We purchased a new toy!

A 2011 Volks Wagon Jetta TDI (Turbo-diesel)

We get about 40-45 MPG to & from work and on long trips even more! (as you saw above) We were not expecting to buy a brand new car, but it will be our forever car and it has been great. We have had for 8 weeks and it has 2200 miles already! We are excited to go on some trips and only spend a little bit on gas!
