Dirt

October 22, 2011

Adam & I went on a short trip to Roosevelt to help my family harvest potatoes.

All the helping hands make light work. The kids were having a blast and were working really fast!

Off to start picking them up

Adam sure looks excited.....!

We found a mom and about 7 baby mice while working. The kids had a lot of fun trying to feed them to the cats...sorry to those of you who would not agree with this. It was funny though.

Here is the nest

Almost done!
I love this picture of the farm with my grandparents home in the back ground. This is were I use to spend a lot of my summers and weekends! I love going out, it brings back a lot of memories!!

Break time!

How many tractors does it take to harvest potatoes?

Our tractor ride.
Excuse the water down the front of me, we had a water fight!

That was our trip to Roosevelt.

Aww, I was going to comment on how hard you must have worked due to the serious sweat on your shirt! :) I remember going out to help with potatoes once, but all I remember doing was washing and bagging them. Glad you guys had fun helping out.
