We headed to Texas for 10 days to see my family! When we left Friday morning, it was snowing in SLC. When we landed in Austin, it was in the 80's! And stayed that warm the whole time we were there. Just a warning, there are SEVERAL pictures in this post! Enjoy!
On Saturday, we headed to a State Park. Mckinney Falls!
I heard in the first part of Spring, the water falls off all the rocks and looks amazing. But it was still beautiful.
Adam and I
My Dad and Mom (once my dad saw I had the camera he tried to hid and my mom tried to get him to turn around, but as you can see, that did not happen.)
Jason and Adam
(The man in the back ground is actual a man my parents are letting stay with them until he finds a job and a new place to live. They are very nice to open there home to kind of a complete stranger.)
If you look closely, you can see to tan dots in the water. Those are turtles in the river.
These men were fishing and trying to catch the bass, so my dad went over to tell them where to fish and how they can catch them. It was pretty funny and typical of my dad. He LOVES anything to do with bass fishing.
The rock formation below the water
Another picture of my dad helping these guys try and catch a fish.
Me & my Mom
A funny sign, but is very true due to all the venomous snakes in the area!
Like the 11 on this map! Creepy right!?!
Love the formation the tree roots make.
These are the upper falls.
The beautiful blue bonnets! They were everywhere, but this the only picture I was able to take because it was in a "safer" zone from snakes.
EASTER
On Sunday we had a wonderful Sacrament service and dinner! My mom always makes really good food and I always eat WAY too much, but that is what vactions are for, correct?
Adam, Jason and I hid easter eggs in my parents front yard for my 3 nephews!
Carson, Maren & Mason
Jensen
An interesting spot to hid them...

Carson's findings!
Jensen's!
And Mason's!
Trying to get them to all look at the same time while they are too excited was difficult!
Mason & Adam opening Mason's cow
Jason
Dustin
Mason's cow he got from Grandma for Easter
This picture looks weird, but the cow has jelly beans come out that end! It was pretty funny!
Everytime Mason wanted more candy he would say "pooh"!!
the candy would come out and he was satisfied for just a few seconds and then....
would ask for another one!
Mason too cute in Adam's sunglasses
Adam was super excited my mom took us to Krispy Kremes to get doughnuts! There are no good doughnuts places in town!
On Tuesday, we head to the ball park to watch Carson play baseball!
Mason would yell "yeah Carson!"
Jensen and his new hat!
That turned into a frisby
Look at the boy! Total baseball pose!
Carson's awesome hit!
Getting ready to bat
Another video!
Out in the outfield!
Cute Mason!
Jensen playing soccer
One day we ran to a grocery store and found a few ODD things that you would only see in Texas!
Texas shaped cheese
Texas shaped party tray
Can you tell what this is? Yep, it is a pig head!!!
Texas shaped chips
So if you ever want to have a Texas party, let me know and I will bring these items home for you ;)
On Thursday, Carson's Kindergarten class and the others put on a 3 piggy opera!
You can kind of see Carson in the middle bottom.
Mason & I
Maren and the cute little piggy!

Captan Adorable!

Jensen sending kisses my way

Carson showing us his dancing moves!
All the guys went fishing to Falcon Lake, on the boarder of Mexico.
Almost everyone caught a big bass and made a new record! Adam's big fish came in at 7lbs 11ozs, my Dad's 9lbs 5ozs and Dustin's over 8lbs. Jason did not beat his record of 13lbs 6ozs
On their way back, they had to stop off at their favorite store!
Friday night we baby sat the boys while Maren had a girls night out!
we had fun filling them with ice cream!
Jason, Jensen & Carson
On Saturday we drove a few hours away to another State Park
It is a huge rock of granite!
Mason & Adam
All ready to go climb the big rock!
There it is!
Just getting started
Half way up

Lizard
You can see all the boys beat us up to the top, mostly because they ran!
When we got to the top, the wind was blowing! Adam and Jensen decided to cool off in the wind.
All of us at the top
If you look closely, you can see the main road (to the left) and can see all the cars trying to get into the park. This place is popular for the Texas folks!
All in the car and ready to head home!
As you can see we had a really good time! Things we did that I did not take a picture of are; I helped my mom plant flowers and lay down bark in their front yard. We also bought my mom a swinging bench for her front porch as a early Mother's day present. It is easier to buy things while we are there. We also hit the San Marcos outlets! If you don't know what they are, take the Park City outlets and times them by 4, literally! It is HUGE!! Found some awesome deals on Winter and Spring clothing, since Texas is always stuck in Summer!
When we were leaving on Sunday, little Mason cried and cried! It was so sad. He gave me the biggest hug and kept saying "Jemfer". He broke my heart! I wish we could have stayed longer or even forever, but we had to come back to the working life!
When we arrived back in SLC Sunday night, it was a bit cold for us, so we hung out under the heaters at the airport while we waited for our ride home!

I love your million picture posts! I have now stolen all the pictures from Enchanted Rock to put on my blog. But I'm bummed I couldn't get the videos to work. :( You know we miss you already.
Agh! Pictures didn't come out well, because I stole them. Shame on me! Will you send me the Hiking pictures?
