December 6, 2011

Adam and I went to Blue Man Group and we had a lot of fun!

 The clean up after words...

December 21-26, 2011

This year we headed to Austin, Texas for Christmas!

On our way out, Delta upgraded our seats to the bulkhead!
Adam had all the leg room he'd always dreamed of!!!

Can't you tell how excited he was!

When we finally arrived in Austin, it was poring rain! But the next morning,
the SUN was out and it was B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L!

So we had a photo shoot in my parents drive way, and yes, all the cars slowed down to see what the heck we were doing. I guess we were a little too excited to see the SUN!

Later that day, our nephews came over to play!

Here you have Jensen, Mason and Carson
The three cutest boys ever!

Mason is soo Big! The last time I saw this little man was when he was just a few weeks old!! I thought he would not warm up to me quickly, but he did! And we had lots of fun!

Jensen and his scary face and "claws"

Then he had to show me all the different Reindeer faces he could do!

He keep telling me to take a picture of him and then he would run over to me and
want to see his picture! This kid is a crack up!

See, Mason warmed up to me quickly! He is such a smart little stud!

On Friday, we went fishing! I was pretty excited to be able to finally get a chance to be on my dad's new bass boat he purchased a few years ago!

See that nice boat behind! Yep, that is my dad's prize for defying death a few years ago! Ha ha, he just felt like he deserved to live his life, because life is too short to have regrets and no fun!

Due to it being a record low in Austin, we suited it up in all my dad's
"cold weather" gear and headed out on the boat!

Me in my very fashionable attire! Don't I look so hot? Ha ha!

And Adam in his almost long enough pants!

Dad, me and mom!

My dad caught the first fish of the day!

Same fish, just a better picture of my dad not smiling!

My cute mom all bundled up, it was only 40 degrees, but no sun!

Dad too busy fishing to stop for a photo!

Adam can fish and pose for pictures!

cool wood creation around the lake

Some turtles hanging out!

All the crows just hanging out watching us fish!

Me & my mom!

The second and final fish of the day! Yep, that's right folks, my dad out fished all of us!

Adam and I road up front on the way back to the dock. It was so much fun and it reminded me a lot of when  I was younger and did this same exact thing with my brothers every year on our family fishing trip to Lake Powell. What fun times and at least this time I did not end up with bruises on my chest from hitting the deck after being thrown into the air from the hitting the waves and the hitting back down hard! OUCH! But great memories!

Just hangin with the boys!

Mr Mason would take these sunglasses on and off. When he had them on, he would say "chwes" every time! It was pretty cute and a fun game!

As you can tell, it went on for awhile! Such a stud!

These boys are watching Beauty and The Beast

While this cute young man plays games on Adam's phone!
He loves to play games and is one smart young man!

Photo opp...like father like son!

Adam wrestling with the boys!

Mason's look towards Adam. It took him a little longer to warm up to him,
but soon Adam learned if you give him treats, he will love you!

See what I mean. Jumpin on the bed!

My mom has been growing out her hair to donate it for a while and since her personal hairstylist came to visit, it was time to cut! We took about 10" off! I also forgot to do an after picture, but it turned out cute!

 Christmas Eve

These cute boys opening presents from their grandma. My Sister-in-law used my camera because hers broke..but these were too cute to not put on the blog!

Adam caught Mason doing this and decided to take a picture instead of taking his finger out...what a great dad he will be! Just kidding! He will be a great with a little bit of humor as well!

Christmas Day!
We all went to my parents ward for Church. It was great to be as a family first thing on Christmas Day! What a great way to bring in the Christmas Spirit!

My oldest brother, Dustin and his 2 boys. Can you tell where Jensen gets his smile? ;)

Funny face family moment!

My dad played Santa!

Adam and I got this Cars 2 guess who game for the boys!

We got Maren these cute earrings.

We also got the boys the Cars 2 DVD! They were so excited, they ran over and gave both Adam and I BIG hugs! And then Jensen did a little excitement dance!  Too cute!

We got Mason a play phone and while he was opening it, Carson yelled out "It's an iphone."

That is why Maren is laughing in this picture! It was pretty funny!

Mason loved the phone...he carried it around for most of the night like this!

Dustin got Maren a new Camera! I think Jensen was more excited then Maren, what do you think?

We got Maren this cute necklace as well

And for Dustin, we got him hair product!

Jason got fishing stuff from Dustin and used it a few days later and caught a 13.36lb Bass with it! It was big enough to be in the Texas Sharelunker program! It is a big deal!

It was our turn to turn over the cameras and open our presents!

We all went in on this amazing and my moms favorite picture, Oh Jerusalem by Greg Olsen. When she opened it, she said "my favorite picture!" That was major kudos to all of kids!

This is her, you guys shouldn't have but i love it face!

Mason jumping on the bubble wrap

Now it was my dad's turn to open his present from us kids!

Yep! A box of huggies, what he has always wanted! Just kidding, it was just the box the present was wrapped in, but it was still a pretty funny joke!

Box inside the box...

Another box inside the box, lets just say he was getting a little frustrated at
this point, but it was worth it in the end!

This is the face that made it all worth it!

ipad 2...what a spoiled dad!

We also got it engraved and it said
Randy Brudnicki
Worlds Greatest Father!
And it is so true!

All the boys enjoying the bubble wrap! Lots of fun!

Adam took a nap because him and Jason stayed up till 3am on Christmas morning playing a video game.

The last day in Texas....

The boys came over to spend a few last hours with us.

This little man went missing....and this is where I found him. In the guest room with candy canes! He found them on my bed and ate what he could with the wrappers on. It was pretty cute!

That was our trip to Texas. It was short but we had a lot of fun. I could not believe how fast my nephews are growing up! And how much I miss my parents! I love spending time with them and we live it when we can! I am greatful we were able to spend such a wonderful and spiritual Holiday with my family. I don't remember the last time we were all together on Christmas! We also took a family photo to send out in our annual family New Year letter and will post soon.
