Often, it is the unimportant things that can put a damper on a relationship and lead to disagreement. Whose turn is it to make dinner, pray, do the laundry, etc. Over time little stuff can build up and cause resentment. It’s lame, for sure, and can lead to arguments. Fortunately, about a year or so ago, amid each of us pleading our case for who should get out of bed to turn off the lights, Jenn and I broke into an intense 3 round battle of rock, paper, scissors.
I don’t remember who had to jump out of the warm covers to complete the task, but I do recall laughing pretty hard about it and going to sleep feeling better and closer as a couple. Since then, this tool has been implemented readily for our day to day deliberations. It just fits. In the end, it all works out pretty evenly and we have fun.

Maybe the world would be a better place if we applied Rock, Paper, Scissors more often. I mean, really, everything from marriages to war could use this! :)
I love it! We'll have to try implementing that one next time we have one of those stupid arguements... probably tonight lol! And Adam you are SUCH a good writer you know that right? You should write a book.
