4th of July weekend

On Friday July 4th, Adam, I, Jason (my brother), Gavin and Melissa (friends) hiked up to Lake Blanche. It was so beautiful, as you can see. We spent most of the day up there fishing, taking a snooze, eating lunch and hanging out. It was nice to get out of the city.

Later that night we went over to Adam's brothers house for a BBQ and fireworks. That was fun! Thanks DeDee and Chris for letting us come over!

On Saturday we spent the night with Adam's parents and sister up at Lodgepole where they were camping. We went on a hike, read and fell asleep in the hammock, made s'mores with Kari. Who could ask for anything better? I really enjoyed my time up there. Thanks Clair, Irene and Kari for letting us come up and hang out with you.

So there you have it. That was our weekend. Sorry I am posting it so late and for another slide show.

Your weekend looks like it turned out great! Very relaxing and full of beautiful things. Thanks again for having us over for dinner.

PS It's free slurpee day. I was just remembering last year! What a fun time.
