Just wanted to let everyone know (mostly me) what we did the rest of our summer and what is happening now.
July 27th:
Adam and I went to Sundance's Summer Theater to see Seven Brides for Seven Brothers! It was Adam's first time ever seeing the play. I grew up watching the movie and loved it! It was a perfect location. If you haven't had the chance to go, go this summer! You won't regret!
August 24-25th:
Our ward does a ward camp out each year. This year we hooked up with another ward! It was so great to actually have several people come. Adam and I helped plan and cook, like we have the last three years. Good times!
August 31st-September 3rd:
This weekend, Labor Day, we headed to Roosevelt for our annual Powell family camping trip in the Uintah's. I always enjoy this time of the year! It is nice to get together with all of the family and catch up. Some times it is the only time I see them. Crazy how adult life is so busy! This year my brother's fiance came with us. It was so much fun, until she went out looking for my brother who was fishing and did not come back with my him. Well long story short. She got lost! Luckily she found some other fishermen on the river who knew exactly where she was staying and brought her back to camp. She showed up right as a huge group of us were heading out looking for her. She certainly scared herself and all of the family! Lesson learned. We all laugh about it now. Great family times!
September 3rd: Put our Townhome up for Sale By Owner
September 13th: Put an offer on a Home in Murray
September 16th: Our offer was accepted! Fun began!!
September 29th:
Adam, I and some friends headed back up to Sundance but this time we went on the full moon lift ride! It was beautiful! What a great way to see all of Sundance. I recommend doing this as well!
October 5-7th:
We headed to Bear Lake to spend sometime with my aunt and cousins and watched conference. I love conference! I always love how I feel after watching and listening to such great inspiring talks! We couldn't leave without getting shakes! It was a fun, nice, relaxing weekend!
October 12th: My BFF Alisha and her husband came into town. We met up and went to dinner. It was so great to see her! It had been 9 months! Glad she was able to come to SLC and glad we could catch up!
October 13th: My brother, his fiance and I headed to Roosevelt. I threw her a Bridal Shower with all the family there. Such great times! We went to dinner and we were not expecting to spend the night, but we were all tired. So we left Sunday morning.
October 20th: I threw another Bridal Shower for Jen2 with all of our family here in town. Only 3 people showed up....we had lots of yummy food just for us ;)
October 25th: We closed on our new home! It is about 6300 South and 700 East! It is a rambler style, 3300 sq ft, 3 beds 2 baths up and mostly unfinished basement. It is on 1/3 of an acre! Has apple, pear, peach and apricot fruit trees and a HUGE area for a garden! We are so excited to finally have a home and a yard!
This same night we accepted an offer on our Townhome! Such a great blessing! The couple loves it as much as we do! I am excited for them. We are just waiting on the appraisal to come back before we know 100% we can sell. Please pray it all works out for us!
October 28th:
We had a farewell dinner at our new house with all of my family to see my brother, Jason and Jen2 off. They are moving to Texas forever!
November 2nd: I said goodbye to Jason and Jen2 as they left to drive to Texas!
Adam lost his job today. I hope and pray we will be blessed and everything works out on our townhome!
This same night my my other brother Dustin and Dad flew in for the night.
November 3rd:
We went to Breakfast with some family so they can see could see my dad and brother. They came over and saw our new house. Then loaded up and left to drive the rest of my brother's items to Texas. I would hate to do that kind of drive, but it was nice of them to help them out.
November 4th:
We went to our new ward and loved it! I am excited to be in a new ward and meet more people. I will miss a few people in our old ward, but we will still see them!
Well, as you can see the last few weeks have been crazy! But i have faith that everything will turn out and will go well.
