A little drive- October 24, 2010

Adam and I both love to take drives together. One Sunday after church we packed the car and off we went in the direction of west. We just kept driving and driving. We went through several towns and never thought to fill up on gas at any of them. As we kept driving, the towns became farther apart and less civilized.  We said we would stop  at the next gas pump...no matter what. So this is where we stopped.

I knew they still had these around. There is one like this up at the U for the state vehicles to fill up at. I jsut did not know there were small towns with them.

After we filled up, we came to this old closed up mining town. We looked inside the buildings, they had the old hardwood floors and the bank is exactly what you would see in old westerns. This was a cool little town.

Check out this old railroad track bridge.

You actually got gas out of that thing? I'd probably stand in front of it for 10 minutes trying to figure out where my credit card went..
